After running my own business for almost 5 years, I want to share some thoughts and doubts on my work experiences in Fashion.

Right before I turned 30, I finally found the courage to quit my job as a lawyer and found the courage to follow my passion for fashion.

In this columns I want to share with you why following your passion often means to break boundaries. I think in this case I want to first separate a job, from earning money with what you love. At the moment I am working 60 hours a week with little brainstorming sessions in my spare time and at the same time i am in an relationship with the super dad of our 1 year old twister super girl. Since we have our daughter I am trying to find the balance between job and family. After having private discussions and struggling with my time schedule at work, I came to the conclusion that there is no need to be in a competition between my work and my private time. I am trying to be more relaxed about it and somehow now the schedule struggles stopped. The key is to improvise and to multitask as much as possible. And last but not least: take little breaks whenever it’s possible. So keep your head up high and do what you love !
