Our Rules
Since LNFA, and every designer we represent, is something very special, we would like to introduce you to some rules and qwerks of our fashionable microcosm.
Limited
The design items presented on the LNFA online platform are all limited in number. Limited means for us, that an item is produced between 3 and 100 times per design! This limitation means on the one hand to purchase design pieces that are almost unique, but also that items have to be re-produced at short notice or are simply sold out. Our motto is: “First come first serve” and “Shop till you Drop!”
Quality and Design
Quality and design are very important to us and distinguish LNFA from all other concepts. We want customers to share this standard and see fashion as part of their lifestyle.
Fair
We work very closely with our designers and therefore know all the important production steps. All products have been fairly produced (mostly in Europe) and are partly made of organic cotton. The product description will tell you everything you need to know about your favorite item design. Of course, you can learn more on request.
Don't break me seal
Our Don't break me seal is an expression of our appreciation for our designers. We would like to have conscious and interested customers who also respect our seal. Our Don't break me seal motto: If you break me you buy me ; )

Give your sweater 1-2 days between wearing your new favorite sweater.
This will allow the wrinkles to dissipate and the fibers to recover.
Woolen sweater should be folded as hanging can stretch it.
General Garment Care
We at the LNFA Concept Store are very invested in your garments.
By choosing to work with young and mostly sustainable designers we aim
to prove that sustainability and an ecclective wardrobe are not mutually exclusive.
The fashion industry is one of the most environmentally demanding industries
on our planet. Sadly enough changing the production cycle is notonly a difficult
feed but will also just change a third of the carbon footprint created by
your garment after shipping.
So you have the power to impact the environment by following easy guidelines.
We believe that you can wear dope shit and still be conscious.
We therefore want to provide you with some guidelines to take care of your favorite pieces.
We provide the care tag for each garment on our product page. We believe
that giving you those indications and being Hundert percent transparent about the
garment will help you choose the pieces that are right for you.
Furthermore, we provide you with these care instructions to ensure that your favorite
pieces will last you longer.
But first things first, we believe in quality instead of quantity.
We want you to fall in love with a piece and cherrish it. Let the coat
you buy be your urban armour in which you combat the dullness of life, your the new pair
of socks become the lucky pair or the knitted sweater your new comfort.
Wear more wash less!
It is not necessary to wash every garment after wearing it once. It is
mostly a habit of hygiene. Demin for instance can be left unwashed for
several weeks or month. Tossing
it into the freezer to kill some bacteria off is a good way to deal with
it. Only wash it once you have a stain in it. Many other fabrics like
wool are selfcleaning and only
need to be aired out properly after any other wear.
Washing less means less tearing and the garment will last longer.
Wash properly!
The reason why we put the care label symbols to every piece in the store is
to raise awareness of the right treatment of the garments. Follow the symbols carefully.
Their only reason of existence is to keep your clothes looking smashing
without impacting the environment heavily.
But before getting into all that let's get the basics down:
1. Get low!
Try to use the lowest temperatures possible - There is no need to boil
cotton anymore to get stains out and your undies will look and smell
great no matter how low you drop
the temperature. Modern detergents are designed to work in low
temperature and you will put less stress on the fibre.
2. Fill it up right!
Make sure to treat your washing machine like yourself at a buffet. Fill
it up but make sure not to stuff it. An overfilled machine will cause
friction which leads to the fibers
wearing out faster and the garments not being washed properly (it also
ruins your machine). But washing a single t-shirt is just wastefull.
3.Go green!
Make sure to use the right amount of detergent. Adding more will not
make your garments cleaner. Using detergent free from phosphates and
optical whiteners is also a good way to
minimize the impact on the clothes.
4.Skip the heat!
Line drying and air drying are the best way to go. The heat can shrink
your garments and will wear the fibers out. Make sure to not hang
stretchable fabrics but lay them out to dry.
You don't want them to stay nice and tight.
STORE CORRECTLY
Fun Fact: Most of the wear and tear of the garments actually occur in
the closet. We all for one know that staying in the closet does no one
good, but one tempt to also store them
incorrectly. Stretchable should never be hanging, but rather folded and
stacked in the wardrobe. Just try to avoid overstacking as it will cause
the fabrics to wrinkle. See less is more again.
Every piece that is a little sturdier can be put on hangers. Make sure
to use nice thick ones. NO WIRE HANGERS, to quote Joan Crawford, as they
can leave picker marks on the shoulders or tear the garment.
Never hang garments from the neck label, just don't.
Be ready to fix it!
Like evry thing worth while, your clothes might need some special
attention once in awhile. Always consider fixing it before replacing it.
Most problems can be fixes by a basic sewing kit and a youtube video.
You can totally patch a hole yourself, mend a little tear or sew on a
button. If you don't feel like doing that, just find yourself a local
tailor. They are usually cheap and happy to help.
DONATE OR RECYCLE
There will always come the day you have to part with a piece. It's a sad
reality. In this case try to find it a new home, by donating it, giving
it to a friend or recycle it. Otherwise your former babe will
just end up in a landfill.a
Extra Services
Besides design and quality, we would like to offer you a very special service.
For design items from a value of 150 € and upwards, you have the possibility to request a short and spontaneous video of the item. Shot in our concept store in Berlin, you will be able to see more of the design of the coveted piece, of us and get a feel for our store in Bikini Berlin.
